Knit size 1 (31”) for about 1” of positive ease. I have a full bust of 30” and waist of 25”. Even though my bust size is bigger than a D cup, I opted not to do the bust darts because there is enough positive ease in the top at full bust and the pure silk provides plenty of drape.

Although the double knitted sleeves and neckline take a while, the clean lines and perfect fit are so worth it. They lay perfectly and that v-neck is just so stunning! Lily has such amazing attention to detail in her patterns and this is one excellent example.

I love the tick sheet that Lily includes in the pattern. It makes it much easier to follow the different increases in the arm, neck, etc.

I found it easiest to work the double knitting with a single double pointed needle while the “picked up” stitches remained on the circular needle.
