Notes

I am testing size 1 (32.25”) without bust shaping. My full bust is 30” and my waist is 25”. I’m 5’6” tall. Even though I have a large bust, since it fits with positive ease in the bust, I opted not to use the bust shaping.

Although I love the designer’s sample in merino with mohair silk held double, I decided to knit this in a warmer weather yarn so that I can wear it in spring, summer, and fall. It will be a great lace and cable cardigan to wear over light things in the warmer months. The soft pink blush color is a perfect match for the delicate lace and cable design.

The cable/lace pattern is super easy to memorize and can also easily be done without a cable needle. It looks much more difficult than it actually is to knit. I could not put this down… so addictive!

This cardigan is so delicate, feminine, and soft. It screams spring to me and makes me need to be around flowers. Since it is February and not actually spring, we went to our beautiful botanical garden-Phipps- to take some photos today. So very happy with the finished sweater. I definitely plan to wear it on my birthday (mid-April). two_hearts Quintessentially me.
