My MC is the Madelinetosh and the CC is the Miss Babs. I’ve had these yarns in my stash for years because I never really knit with bulky and super bulky yarns. However, we’ve had such cold weather this month and I realized I haven’t knit a cowl in many years. This is a quick and easy project- and yet I find knitting with such thick yarn is much more strenuous on my hands than thinner yarn so I took breaks from working on this with other projects.

In retrospect, I wish I had knit one size smaller (the youth size). I don’t know if it is just that I’m a smaller person or if I just prefer smaller cowls, but this one is just SO BIG and it has a gap around the neck that I would prefer not to have during super cold weather.
