finished first sleeve, cast on for the second. I hate making sleeves so making them first will hopefully make the body go fast from how much relief I’ll have…

Whew, finally finished the sleeves. I definitely know I’ll thank myself for making them first when I join the yoke, and plan on using this strategy in the future. Casting on for the body now!

Knit 5 inches from cast-on before I started the waist shaping. Might only do 2 sets of increases instead of my usual 3 because Becca isn’t as skeletal as I am, and still going through puberty too.

After putting this aside for a while because knitting that much stockinette was driving me crazy, I’ve finally joined the body and sleeves. I’m not going to knit very far into the yoke yet before I have Becca try it on to make sure the body is long enough.

Becca tried it on at Thanksgiving last night and it fits perfectly, no changes to sleeves or body length needed!!! the yoke decreases just seem to be taking FOREVER :/

FINISHED THE NECK SHORT ROWS!!! Only thing left is the turtleneck and embroidery!!!

the sweater is done omg… I’m going to experiment with different ways to make the star trail since it would just be a huge mess of duplicate stitch if I tried to embroider directly, but this thing will be out of my hands SOOn…

Gave it to Becca last night and she LOVED it :D
