Two threads in each slot & hole of 12-dent reed. 396 ends, 12 white, 4 color ends alternating. I was going to use 2 heddles but decided that level of threading would make me batty. Also using a double bobbin shuttle with one thread of white and one thread of natural for the weft, so two threads per pass. I’ve done first towel in plain weave, 2nd with a warp float centered in the white stripes … starting from left, up w/pattern stick, down, up, down, repeat … Lesson learned: the texture is not that noticeable and the pattern stick and fine thread made it difficult not to make mistakes on the pass-through with the shuttle. Plain weave would be better with color being the focus, not texture.
