The Starks are always right eventually: Winter is coming… and I need a blanket!

I hate round blankets, though, so I’ll be adding corners a la the POP blanket to square things out before adding the decorative edge.

8/27: I have now reached the point in the blanket where each round takes 30-40 minutes. Haaaallllpppp…

9/23: OMG this lace edging is take for.ev.er. Lifelines are a MUST with this edge; I can’t tell you how many times I’ve screwed up the chart and had to rip back. I recommend running one through the final round of the blanket and one through the first row of each lace repeat.

9/26: Done! Grafting the ends of the edging together was kind of a harrowing experience, but it looks pretty good. This is also my first time steam blocking acrylic, and I didn’t melt anything, so I’m calling it a success!

I have enough yarn left to make a couple matching pillows. Hooray!
