10-12-15- First clue: It looks like these are going to be “arms” or maybe “legs”. Very quick to make up! Looking forward to the next clue!
10-14-15 - Next clue is the head and body. The mystery is that when some people asked about using plastic snap on noses for the project, Melissa said they could but that should NOT put the noses on until the last the last day of the project! Okay…if you make the head, then the nose gets snapped on before closing it, UNLESS there is another piece…a “snout” perhaps…that needs to go on first? Interesting! I also wondered if assuming the body is going to sit up is not quite how it’ll work. Maybe it’ll be lying on it’s tummy? Curiouser and couriouser!
10-16-15 Clue #3 was a smallish one…and the critter is becoming more clear! Pretty sure this is going to be a cat! Could still be surprised, of course…there’s one more Clue to go!
10-19/10-20-15 Some delays over the weekend. Finished KitKat! I made the tail a bit longer than the pattern (21 rows) and shortened the colored tip (color B) to 7 rows, finishing the rest of the tail with color A. I also shortened the rows on the ears by one. Added a little jester style picot collar. Crocheted the nose instead of embroidering. Cute pattern with lots of potential for personalzation.
