I used the pattern for Simply Cheerful Trivets for some matching doilies and coasters for different occasions in my room. I added scallops to dress them up a bit. Very easy pattern and they come out looking very nice! I likely will make more sets in different colors. Pleasant “filler project” when one is between big projects.

For the trivet in RH green (first one I made in 2014), I followed the Fiber Flux pattern as written, then added the ruffle: crochet Row#2 again, as written. Then repeat Row #3, only use hdc and add a chain between the clusters. This will automatically make a nice even looking ruffle.
