Foot length to start of fish-kiss heel 7 1/2 (measuring below the needle, final length measuring from lifeline is 7 5/8)

I used my most recent broken seed stitch socks as a model.

Bahahahahaha I was about to call it just an inch or two above the heel (because omg 1x1 rib is so boooooooring) and then I looked at the pattern and there’s a whole other section of leg that I forgot about entirely. (Things that happen when you take 3+ months to knit a pair of socks, with two other projects in between.) So I ripped back a half-round of purl and am just going to jump into the pattern from here. Should be about the right length.

Did both repeats of the pattern and then 6 additional rounds of 1x1 ribbing. Bound off with Jeny’s stretchy. Very comfy quarter-height socks, ended up just wearing them the rest of the day.
