Just frogged it all the way back, maybe 4” of rows. It was turning out too big around, so going to re-cast-on 240 or 245 stitches and try again.

I didn’t like the standard rolled bottom, and wished that I’d done a rib instead, so now I can on v.2.

Finished up ball #1 this weekend. I’m feeling good about the second skein being enough to complete the pattern.

Currently past the waist shaping increase, and now just knitting even till I hit ~40cm. I’m at 35cm currently. Super boring pattern for the moment, but after this part it’ll get interesting! I’m loving the color and how the variegation speckles throughout.

The asymmetrical neckline was really fun to knit. It was a great reward after so much tiny stockinette.

It’s now fitting great as a tank, and I’m starting on the sleeves. The stitch pickup instructions are leaving me with a round of 94 stitches instead of 86 (20 top, 8 bottom, and 33 sides), so I’m deciding what to do: pick up fewer, knit some together, or just have a wider sleeve.

It’s finished! Worked the sleeves evenly until about 3 rows worth of yarn remaining, and then bound off with jssbo. Ideally I’d have another two inches on the sleeves, but I’m content with where they landed.

Super thrilled with the whole project and especially with how well it fits! About 80% through, I was regretting the lace weight yarn I bought for another tee (this fingering weight was tedious enough!!), but 24 hours later I already hear the adrenaline in my brain saying, “Eh! That wasn’t so bad!” I know it’s a lying bastard, but the lace tee may happen yet!
