I cast on 2, 9, 9, 9,6 with the intent of picking up the leading edge on the short side to do a perpendicular button band once I finish.. that plan panned out nicely.
First 5 rows in garter,
increased on knit rows each side of markers,
until middle nine was 23 stitches.
knitted to length.

Knitted 3 rows into the sleeves before binding off.

Used little floral beads as buttons so I didn’t have to make button holes, just push them though regular stitches.
