I love the projects that have been posted so far - such an endearing little pattern! I haven’t knit any toys lately, so it was nice to switch things up a bit.

I used scraps of fingering weight yarn and smaller needles than the pattern calls for - which worked very well until I had to pick up stitches for the wings! That took some work and patience.

No other major modifications to the pattern. I didn’t add a mouth because I liked the butterfly’s face without it.
