Notes

I’ve been in the mood for mindless knitting lately. I love the way my first linen stitch cowl turned out, and can’t wait to see how this colorway knits up!

This time, I cast on 175 stitches for a looser, drapier cowl… I may just knit to the end of the skein.

5/20/15 - first 2” done!

5/22/15 - just about 6” at this point.

5/24/15 - 11” - I worked hard on this today. Almost there!

5/25/15 - Bound off and blocking!! I still have a small ball of yarn left.
I used a bind-off that other ravelers suggested:
K1, K1, slip both stitches back to left needle and K2togtbl. I think it’s a fair improvement over the wonky knit bind-off I did on the last cowl!

Pre-blocking= 11.5” x 13”

6/1/15 - cast on for a second cowl because I got a request for one! I think this will be my subway project for the time being. :)

6/16/15 - still plugging away at this during my commute. I think I’m about halfway done.

7/11/15 - finished and blocking! Pre-blocking measurements: 11.5” x 14”
