these are just a basic 2x2 rib cuff plain sock that i take with me for knitting on the go when i can’t pay attention to charts or complex directions.

this skein is the ugliest sock yarn i’ve every seen!! ack! i’m really hating it. bright yellow and multicolor flecked is so very NOT my thing. good thing i didn’t buy it for myself, or i would feel even worse about it…

just finished the gusset on the first sock… but these are going into hibernation. i had only chosen this as my travel socks because all my pretty sock yarns for me had more complex patterns in mind. Paul has decided he is interested in wearing knit socks in shoes instead of just shoeless in the mornings… so now he needs more socks! and he is not into so many patterned socks, so basic travel socks are perfect. time to start a pair for him instead. i’ll get back to these eventually.
