CO 72 sts, using worsted yarn. Used a loose long tail cast on in yellow, did 1 round of ribbing in it before switching to the purple.
I used the same size needle for the entire project.

Unstretched, ribbing measures 27cm circumference and height of hat from edge of brim to centre of top is 16.5 cm.

Easy pattern to follow and the double seed stitch adds a nice texture and extra warmth.

Now to make a matching cardigan!
