Well this was a leap of faith. Have had this yarn for a while and knowing how it had been knitting up for others made for reluctance to use. Trying to make adjustments so it could be used and this is what became of it.

This yarn really is overpriced for what the resulting item washes up like - ginormous - hand washed in this case then placed in lingerie bag in dryer for just a bit to bring it back to shape it. Once placed on a plate to block and finish drying it looked all pilly, worn and old. But managed to to finally get something that should be usable. Still really like the color but boy does it already look like its been tossed around awhile.

Liked the looks of this pattern but it starts top down on six stitches on dpn’s. More than a bit fiddly starting lace this way.
