Hopefully this yarn will work with this pattern. The gauge is the same, but I’m thinking that I might have to do some kind of crochet trim or garter stitch around the edges to stop it from curling up. Hopefully I have enough yarn - for no readily apparent reason each ball only weighs 96-97g, not 100. Bad Rowan.

Place bets now on whether I can stay motivated enough to finish it in time to wear it to a wedding on June 12th.

Well, I finished it in time… but I don’t think I like it. I’ll be wearing it anyway, because it’s the perfect colour, but it’s come out absolutely ENORMOUS. And I should have left out the waist shaping. Never mind.

Also, I really don’t like the yarn. Sheds fluff as soon as you look at it, and pills like mad. Yuck.
