Not entirely sure this is anything like enough yarn… but it was all they’d got in the John Lewis sale! I might have to do some kind of weird stripe arrangement on the back if I don’t have enough… or just knit the whole thing a bit shorter. I’m hoping that knitting the size S length and the size M width will do the trick.

Also, forgot how much I hate knitting colourwork of any kind. Oops. Because I love the shape of this pattern, and have bought two colours of yarn, it’s now going to be striped. Much easier!

Two years on, and I can’t even remember why I was knitting this… I had a whole ball of the darker colour left over, and plenty of the pink too. I hated knitting the stripes (colourwork really isn’t my strong point!), I’m not sure that this goes with any of my clothes, and I no longer work at a place that’s so cold I have to wear jumpers all year round.

Hopefully I’ll like this again once I’ve blocked it and tried it on!
