Making a cardigan with the cat on the back. Eliminating side seams.
Will add front bands and maybe a wider neckband.
I may also add a longer sleeve.

Decided after a long rest to make a pullover. I did a crochet slip stitch to join the 2 fronts to create the back, making it a pullover. (The front & back are the same. ). This places the cat back on the front.

Neckline. I picked up stitches as indicated in pattern. Did an immediate decrease across the neckline to help pull it in. 2x2 on 10.5US then dropped to 10US to tighten up neckline for a finished 2.25” collar.

Picked up stitches indicated in pattern for sleeve. I knitted straight until about elbow length and rapidly decreased to 10 sts larger than wrist measurement. Straight knitting until at wrist length decreased 10 sts. 2x2 ribbing to match hem.

Instead of long stitches for whiskers, I did a loose stem stitch to keep from catching a long stitch on the front of my sweater.
