Nachdem ich diesen Pullover dauergetragen habe ist er nun “fertig” gewesen.
Es war das erste Top Down Modell, das ich gestrickt hatte und unter den Achseln war mir die Konstruktion etwas zu locker geraten. Das hat sich nach dem vielen Tragen natürlich noch etwas geweitet und insgesamt hat das Garn nach den vielen Wäschen in 7 Jahren doch einiges an Flausch verloren und an den Ellenbogen deutlich ausgedünnt.
Weil der Pulli mein absolutes Lieblingsteil war und eigentlich noch super aussah; keinerlei Pilling!, wollte ich ihn nun retten.
Aber irgendwie ist das wohl eine schlechte Idee.
Ich habe ihn vor ein paar Wochen so geribbelt, dass ich die dünnen Stellen entfernt habe. Aber jetzt fällt mir absolut nichts dazu ein, wie ich ihn wieder erneuern kann, so dass ich ihn auch wieder schön finde. Außer Ringel kommt mir da nichts in den Sinn und Ringel stehen mir nicht. Also werde ich wohl das absolute Ende dieses Pullovers einleiten. So traurig ich das auch finde.

I finished my Ambient Pull yesterday and I’m absolutely in love with it. The pattern was so clear to understand and follow and the knitting was just fun.
As you can see it has a perfect fit and the yarn I chose is an absolute dream to knit and wear.
I only used 8,4 skeins of Zealana yarns Air Lace and aproximately a bit more than a half skein of the silk mohair.
The pullover weights exact 230 Grams.

Only after washing and blocking the full beauty of the yarn is to see and feel. So the different look of the pullover is before and after washing.
Now a few words about the knitting process.
I used needle 2,5mm, 3mm and the 3,5mm as stated in the pattern.
I mostly have to use a smaller needle at the beginning of a project as my knitting is still very loose. With getting into the rhythm of yarn and stitch I have to change needle bit by bit and end up with the stated needle size or bigger.
I used the different colour on the yoke 4 repeats double yarn and the last only with one thread.
Where you can see a sort of line are the increases for the yoke width.
At the hem I used the mohair with one thread only, too.
At the sleeve cuff you can see the pattern stitch without the other yarn.
