Notes

This beauty got lost in delivery with German DHL.
So no pictures of the finished cardigan on a model.
It’s over a year later now and I’m still angry and sad.

SEPTEMBER 22

The goal is a short boxy wide jacket.
After a few tries I decided on an included front button band.
I know, the knitting turns out a bit flat, even in a ripped, false brioche pattern.
So I use slight bigger needles as well to get a really loose light fit.

As I worked the back much to loose I had to undo it and will hopefully reach the armhole shaping soon.
I worked the front parts first up to the armholes as well to continue all the parts together on one needle. I like this to get a better view over what I’m doing and to get it even.

Sleeve lenght is 59 cm.

After the first wash you can see how much the pattern flattened already. It will even more with wearing.
