This pattern’s been in my “collection” for a while, but trying on a finished mitten at a favorite LYS, Henny’s, made it a “must knit”! The 2-stranded “outer mitt”, combined with the “inner mitt” lining, give these triple layers of insulation. It’s not a fast knit, but well worth the “snuggly hug” for warm hands…

Used a “jogless join” for the I-cord cast on, as shared by Inina Revo. Pattern is well written, but chart reading the two-color outer mitten required close attention. The inner mitten is made by picking up cuff stitches, and when done, this is pushed inside - making this a 3-layer mitten that’s very cozy!
