Notes

finally making socks for my daughter, who’s feeling left out of my sock-making binge! This unique design should satisfy her!

1-31-12: I have confirmed with the pattern designer that the LLinc’s and RLinc’s are done in the USUAL manner, and NOT with the additional twist to the lifted stitch that I get if I follow the stitch directions in the pattern. Ripped the inch or so I had completed and started over.

2-4-12: I was mightily irritated to come across knotted-together ends in the midst of the skein of Bernat Sox yarn I am using. Now there is a tail in the middle of my sock - grumble-grumble-grumble…. :( Bernat better send me some free replacement yarn!

3-2-12: Finished! These socks are tight, though. My feet are a bit bigger than my daughter’s, so I hope they will fit her okay. In general, I would say that in any size, the way these socks are shaped is NOT ideal for people with a high arch/instep. Definitely had fun making them, though!
