Knitting this for the Tangled Yarns September Short Row KAL…

8/9- After finishing two segments I had a hole in the main colour from not picking up a W&T properly. Decided to leave it. After finishing three segments I noticed I had stuffed up picking up a W&T in the CC section and this had meant I had dropped a stitch. Tried to pick it up, but failed so I tried frogging back a section. Frogging short rows I found near impossible so ripped it back to the start and will have another go over the weekend! Sigh!

Oh and the Ultra Alpaca Fine doesn’t take well to slipping two stitches at the end of rows so I am going to only slip one next time… Actually, I am finding it rather splitty…

11/9 Going again with a different way of doing short rows Have completed 4 rows this evening and will need to get a move along if I am to finish it this month!

26/9 81 wedge later it’s off the needles! A few slight errors due to complacency- there are two short rows in the main colour where I purled when I should have knitted- but it makes it more me- slight imperfections! Will give it a block tonight and wear it to work tomorrow. Yes, in the tropics- I am not that crazy really!
