using finer yarn, so using measurements for larger size. think i’ll make the “v” neck a little lower - start one button sooner. have to check for errata though - all i’ve done is knit a row and tried to place the markers and realised the stitches don’t add up…

nevermind! i was forgetting the “side seam” stitches when i was counting, duh…

31 march - realised that i had mucked up one of the zig zag thingies (started zagging early when i should have kept zigging). tinked it back and i think i have it all sorted. have done all the waist decreases, back to the straightaway.

3 june - first try-on last night - yippee! it fits! i am working slightly out of order - the pattern said to do the back neckband after the sleeves; i did it before, because i am worried about running out of yarn. think i’ll be ok though. used just shy of three balls for the bodice, that leaves one each for the sleeves. worst case scenario, the sleeves end up 1/2 instead of 3/4 length; i’m ok with that.
