hooded baby cardigan with oak leaf pattern

31 july: sleeves done, bottom ribbing done (will join sleeves to knit seamlessly once i get there)

10 aug: got to hood, but think i’ll rip back to re work shoulder shaping

16 sept: whoops, set that aside for longer than intended! but today i got the ripping-back part done

18 sept: picked up the stitches (so much fun) and got a couple of rows done. since i’ll be doing the shaping differently (more decreases) i’m hoping this goes quickly.

24 sept: gotten through a couple of leaves. not going quickly enough - i want to have this and another thing done for thanksgiving!

2 oct: so slow, no time to knit lately! but i’m back to the hood, aka the homestretch. going to be stuck waiting at library for an hour tomorrow, hope to get lots done then.

5 oct: all that’s left is the ribbing! whee! i wonder where i put the buttons though.

7 oct: done! blocking now. all i need is to add the buttons.

10 oct: all finished just in time to present at thanksgiving tomorrow!

14 oct: it fit the baby, and parents and grandmother were thrilled!
