bah - argyle is a misery to knit, and i think i should have bought a third skein of the gooseberry - i’ve lost the paper tag thingy so i don’t even know the dye-lot!! and i’ve misplaced the pattern. bah.

ha - i’ve found the pattern now! it’s in patons 120: quickerknits - knitting patterns for baby (one of my mum’s patterns from decades ago)

okay, i have one front done & the other front & back 3/4 done (they are all knit of a piece). yay! if only i could magically find another ball of the gooseberry. although i called in the loop and romni, and both have it in stock.

almost done!! all knitting is done, i’ve stitched it up, i just need to run in the ends (thousands), press it, and sew on the buttons! whee!

finally finished!! just in time for stinky hot weather! yay!
