Churning out hats for women, children and men going on the march on Saturday using (sadly) cheap acrylic. This is pussyhat #9 but the first with cats.

Mods - cutting my cats to suit my yarn… cast on 92 sts on two short circs (presumably magic loop would work too) using Julie Becker’s magic cast on (48 per needle). Purl last stitch of each needle on each round to give a false seam and help the “ears” stand up. Begin and end colourwork on each needle after three stitches of background colour (not one), six cats across each needle.

I work with the hat inside out to get a reasonable tension on the long floats around the “corners” and switch to just one needle to work in the round when enough rounds have been worked to allow this.
