Using assorted colors for the centers and white for the garter stitch edgings. Each block is good for an evening’s knitting. I don’t know what I’ll do with it when finished; there are no babies in view.
I’m up to 23 blocks; 13 to go.

Picked this project up again because there is a real baby on the horizon! I aim for 36 blocks--4 of each color--and have gone back and bound off all previously-completed blocks. The idea of using live stitches and a 3-needle bind off seems too perilous for a blanket in actual use!
