Casted on with US 1/2.25 mm DPNs and worked 12 rounds of ribbing before proceeding to colorwork. Switched to US 1.5/2.5 mm 10” circulars for colorwork, working heels and toes with US 1/2.25 mm DPNs

Final yardages for a mismatched pair of socks, rounded up to the nearest whole:

Color A (switched on each sock): 39 g / 164 m / 180 yds
Color B (same on both socks): 21 g / 89 m / 98 yds
Color C (switched on each sock): 39 g / 164 m / 180 yds

The pattern does not include any knit stitches between the heel or toe decreases. If I were to make these again, I would alter the heel and toe decreases to include knit stitches between the ssk and k2tog, i.e. k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, k1. This creates a more standard and aesthetic decrease in my opinion.

I have found that the heel and toe can be quite pointy if decreased to the stitch count listed in the pattern, so I would also play around with that. I ended up stopping my toe decreases several stitches early to keep it from becoming too long and pointy.
