This is a new design I have been working on from Hedda Knits. I knit these mittens for the second CPAAG Auction; the winning bid went to Doctors Without Borders to aid earthquake victims in Haiti.

I am using inspiration from Art Nouveau (in particular Alphonse Mucha) along with the intricate patterns of brocades to represent the new spring blossoms--which are still many months away here in Canada!
