For this sweater I used the pattern for the owls and most of the description above the owls. Since my yarn was thinner I used 3 mm needles for the ribbing and 4mm for the rest and ended up with 28 owls aroung the neckline. I also wanted a more fitted, vintage isnpired shape and a sweater that ended at the waist. So my friend Anna (candacis on Ravelry) did the math and the pattern accordign to what I wanted, and also added shaping at the bust with short rows.
