Since I have lost a lot of weight I had to do something to be able to wear this lovely cardigan/jacket.
First I washed it in the machine on 40 degrees, which made it felt a little, though not very much.

Then I unpicked the sleeves from the armscye, except at the top, and the hem. Then I sewed two lines of zig-zag stitch in the sides, ca 1.5 inches in from the previous edge. I cut off the remaining “fabric” and then sewed the sleeves in place again.
