2011 Jan 07 - I’d created my alien head motif a few days earlier as a flat knit sample. Eager to put it to good use, I was suddenly compelled to alter it slightly for Brad’s cap. For this experiment the alien head was knit in basic stockinette, whereas the black backdrop of the chart was modified to work with k1, p1 ribbing. If there’s enough interest, I could be persuaded to write a pattern for the cap as it appears in the image. * ~hint-hint~ * =)
