This yarn was amazing. It never split and I never got tired of looking at it! It totally camouflages my grand dog, a bllue Italian Greyhound. I wanted the fit to be a form fitting sweater, and it is thanks to the custom fit directions which require taking measurements and plugging in some basic math. Being fairly new to knitting, and having never constructed more than a tube form, I found the directions understandable. I was able to figure out everything on my own after multiple reads. I definitely would recommend this pattern for a dog. I look forward to making it again in a fun bold color or for a different breed. The only thing I would do differently would be to take the time to block it before gifting it. That way the tail would be completely covered when he walks.
