Day 1: Took a couple of tries to get the cast on correct, as the instructions said to “pull out” the needle, so I did and it unraveled. Finally saw that “pull out” really meant “pull through and leave loops on the cord” and it worked fine. After working the first few rounds, went back and ‘tightened up’ the cast on to match the rest.

Day 2: Gusset went well, as did the shadow wraps. All ready for the Heel flap on the next ‘working’ day.

Day 4: Gusset and Heel Flap went well. Used the standard heel. Continued with Leg. Looking forward to finishing tomorrow.

Day 5: Completed mini sock and wove in ends. Still need to block as of 8:30am 15 Dec. Used the ends from the last color change to make a twisted cord -- twisted the yarns together until the cord started twisting up on itself then folded in half and released the middle to make the cord. I then folded in half again, secured the end and pulled it through the back of a stitch to help it ‘stand up.’
