Christmas Trees beanie
I cast on on the flight to see mom in Fort Myers, FL. I had just finished a knitted knocker, and there was a lot of flight time left, so I thought about the yarns I had in my carry-on, thought of the 3 Wool-Ease colors I had, and thought up the tree hat in seconds.

I think I just barely got into the tree trunks on the plane. I had thought about the stitch count vs. gauge, how many trees would fit, how to evenly space them, etc. Here I am at mom's place in FL, getting into the trees.

Finished! It would be another week or two before I got to the pom pom, after we'd driven to her cabin in TN.
Mom had to be my model. She doesn't like being on camera, even though she's pretty :)

Mom loves the holidays, and loves to decorate.

The cabin in TN has a bear theme. After I put on the pom pom, I tried it on a few of the bears.
