Sep 11/19: materials cost sent 2 days ago. Waiting for it to clear before I place order.

Sep 12/19: purchased a package each of bells and black sequins today from Michaels.

Sep 16/19: yarn ordered yesterday.

Sep 20/19: yarn shipped yesterday.

Sep 23/19: yarn arrived today. Adding to stash as I type this.

Sep 25/19: dyed about 5 yds of white with a drop of peach-ish “neon” food colouring yesterday for the flesh-tone. Looks like we’re good to go! Update: c.o. today, 64 sts for an even 2x2 rib.

Sep 26/19: progressed along until I was to start the chart, then realized I’d be much happier with this if I just knit it flat and seam it to the end of the chart, continuing with the heel turn in-the-round. Intarsia “in the round” is a pain-in-the-bum and always causes dodgy seams. Update: caught back up, working flat. Remembered to keep the red dominant for the name, so that’s working better this time, too. Wound my bobbins too.

Sep 27/19: started the Intarsia last night, working from the back, then realized that I was working up the chart incorrectly. Rather than take another stab at it, I thought it best to take the night off. I will resume today.

Sep 28/19: yay! currently about 1/3 of the way through the chart.

Sep 29/19: finished the chart today. Hope to send pics to the client tomorrow to verify that things are progressing as he’d like.

Sep 30/19: blocked my work so far to send pics to client. Took this opportunity to upload all relevant project pics here. Note that the first photo I took is my first attempt at working the name -- this got ripped out due to the fact that I ended on the wrong-side row. That version was white yarn dominant, too, which didn’t look as good as what I have now.

Oct 3/19: received client approval (thus far) yesterday, so intend to resume today.

Oct 5/19: began working on the remainder yesterday and am about to begin the toe shaping.

Oct 6/19: seaming & finishing completed last night. I’ve sent photos of the finished product to the client for confirmation and will hopefully be shipping this off this week! Must remember to weigh skein remnants to update the stash.

Oct 7/19: received client approval yesterday! Time to get a shipping quote out.

Oct 9/19: updated skein usage amounts. Awaiting client payment so I can ship.

Oct 11/19: mailed off today! Have to check to see if I need to provide a partial shipping refund; I think shipping was less than I expected.
