Oct 16/15: wound yarn last night. There was a knot in almost the dead-centre, so I’ve got a 24g ball and (I presume) a 26 g ball. It occurs to me that my ball is only 50g, not the 100g listed in the Ravelry database, so I’ll have to change my stash quantity to a half-ball.

Oct 18/15: updated now.

Oct 19/15: finished knitting last night and gradient-dyed today. Will toss into the dryer tonight to firm them up.

Oct 20/15: it worked! I’ve included a shot of the hand-blocked socks which are s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out, two of the post-dryer socks and one with them being modelled by the lovely recipient.
