Nov 27/11: You’ve got to love a pattern that’s this much fun and this fast. Vintage Chunky sheds fluff a bit (not much) and is more prone to splitting than I’d have liked, but it’s soft, has a great hand, and I love this colour. The “scoofie” pattern itself was a bit unclear in spots (hence the “skirt” of tentacles, rather than a “wall”), but it’s easy enough to muddle through with intermediate experience. Also, I used the “Magic Adjustable Loop” technique to build all the circles I needed to. The eyes, irises and suckers were all done in scrap cotton I had lying around. I had a great (and brief!) time working on this one.
