This was a celebratory divorce blanket for my sister. In the time it took me to knit, she could have gotten married and divorced again!

Size-wise, it is more of a lap blanket. Finished it off with a double-crochet border in an earthy brown, since there seemed to be a lot of rich, earthy shades incorporated in the blanket. It took me about two weeks to weave in the ends. It appears a daunting enough task at first, but if you pick it up and do a bit here and a bit there, you’re done before you know it. I imagine if you weave them in as you’re knitting along, that would be even better.
