6/28/2012: my husband and I are setting off on a 6-month road trip across the country. this seemed like the perfect sweater to keep me busy in the passenger seat. normally i would have knit the entire body as one piece, but considering it will be a travel project i wanted to keep the pieces as small as possible. seaming isn’t really the devil, is it? :)

cast on yesterday. mods: switched to 10.5 needle for bottom ribbing. going to knit the sleeves in the round.

7/18/2012: this is going soo slowly… stupid heatwave. its been between 90 and 105 every day for the past three weeks, so knitting is only happening for a few minutes each day once we find a hotel. currently a little more than half way done with the back.

7/25/2012: back is finished, cast on two fronts yesterday. so far so good… a little worried about running out of yarn.

11/4/2012: finished fronts. looks awesome! i’m not getting a lot of time to knit but I hope I can have this done in the next few weeks before we get back to the northeast :)

11/24/2012: finished both sleeves and steamed (no space for blocking on the road…). tomorrow i’ll sew it together! yay!

11/26/2012: all done!! love it… fits perfectly and looks storebought. FO pic coming soon
