9/6: learned my lesson last year at the US open. if i dont finish it within the six-or-so hours i’m actually on the grounds, i will never finish it. DH just got a shiny new ipod touch and, after a miracle incident with my iphone cosy, he insisted on getting his own (i was thrilled!)

he picked the colors last night and i cast off (with kitchener stitch) during the v williams/clijsters match at the end of the day (see photo). went to a bar with some friends and knit it a front pocket to hold his earbuds. tonight i’ll weave ends and block, and by tomorrow morning he will have a brand new cosy!

9/7/09: when i woke up this morning, the cosy was gone off the blocking board. guess i will have to take a FO photo when i can get my hands on it…. (but i am very grateful that he likes it so much)
