Bright, colorful afghan for a dynamic, outgoing 2 year old.

The color combination is a direct tribute to Mama Grillo, a neighbor now long deceased. When I was a little girl, Mama Grillo made me a small granny blanket in pastel pink, white, and mint green that I treasured. I used it for my dolls, I slept with it, I carried it around. Some time later, I can’t remember, she gifted me a big girl sized blanket that fit my bed. Decades later it is still a treasured possession.
