Notes

This pattern is exactly the same as the Waterfall Afghan - and I love that! So simple, stretchable. So easy, but it is indeed an endurance pattern. I’ve been crocheting for days!

I am making this for a lady who I anticipate will wear it round the house, so I tried to make it in a color that would also look good draped over the couch.

Update: gift well received! She loved it. 3 skeins were plenty for a warm sweater that isn’t too heavy and has the short sleeved jumper look that is popular right now. I used a woven seam to join the ends and it is practically seamless.

For a shorter person, I would chain far fewer. The stretch of the stitch allows plenty of fabric to roll into a shawl collar and still cover the whole behind. The elbow length allows for ease of movement in the arms without too much fabric in the way.

Another grand pattern for anyone looking for a simple garment.
