From the pattern I only used the Blueberry Waffle four row repeat - it worked up surprisingly easily and I love the texture. I didn’t look at the pattern’s cuff, heel and toe instructions.

I worked the socks as follows:
CO 64
2x2 rib for 20 rounds
20 repeats blueberry waffle
One round of knit and shift the start of the round by 1 st
Put 32s on waste yarn
Continue the foot working stockinette on the sole and blueberry waffle on the top for 13 reps then two rows of knit and then work the toe.

One sock minus heel = 33g

Afterthought spiral heel
Pick up the stitches either side of waste yarn (33 + 32s). Start heel knitting from the middle of the sole picking up and knitting one extra stitch per needle at the corners and on needle four doing k2tog on last stitch (gets rid of the extra stitch).

Next round: (k15 k2tog k2tog k15) x 2 to get rid of the extra stitches.

Knit 8 rounds.

Then:
K9 k2tog k9 k2tog k19 k2tog k9 k2tog k10
K round
(K8 k2tog) repeat for the round
K round
(K7 k2tog) repeat for the round
K round
Continue in this way until:
(K2 k2tog) repeat for the round
(K k2tog) repeat for the round
(K2tog) repeat for the round
6 stitches remain - weave tail through those and weave in end.

Main yarn thoughts: It’s on the tougher end of sock yarns to knit with. It bled a bit during the wash but softened up a little. I expect it will wear well.
