This is a great (complex!) pattern, I love the result, however there were some instructions that weren’t entirely clear at first glance.
I technically used 13 and a bit 50g yarn balls, but the final weight of the jumper is 605g (see notes on Yarn Usage if you’re here wondering about using Morris and Sons Estate 8 ply for a project).
Neckband, Round 2: The last section didn’t match with how many stitches I had on the needles but I knit the stitches I had and did the ssk, checked my stitch count and I was spot on, so there might be a small error there.
Cable raglan decreases tip: Don’t do what I did! When there aren’t enough stitches to complete a cable, stop working the cable, BUT don’t think of the antler (V) cables as one cable, think of them as a left and right antler so even if you can’t do the full antler, do one side if you can. I only realised this after I’d stopped doing the antlers but looking back at the pattern photos I see they did the half antler which looks better.

Notes
- Lots of things to keep track of but it’s worth it.
- I did all my cables without a cable needle.
- I knit the sleeves two at a time so that I could be certain to make them match.
- I used one type of stitch marker for the start of round, another for the raglans, and a third to separate the chart sections so I could figure out where I was at a glance.
- I see this jumper getting lots and lots of wear.
Yarn usage
I had 13 balls of Morris and Sons Estate 8ply yarn which should be 650g = 1300m but every yarn ball was 2-4g underweight. I ran out of yarn with around 6 rows and the bind off to go, thankfully I had a little leftover from a previous dyelot and it’s unnoticeable that I changed dyelots on the collar (phew!).
Final weight of jumper = 605g (after weaving in ends)
