Referencing the Sinappia ja palmikkoa socks from Venlavaan.

For the leg I had 25 + 30 stitches on my needles and I made the ribbing flow in to the pattern but 2x2 rib on the back of the leg.

Before the heel turn I decreased two stitches on either side of the back of the leg so I had 25 + 26 stitches.

After the heel turn I decreased down to 25 + 28 stitches on my needles (I was going to go down to 25 + 26 but it was looking snug on my foot so it’s good that I didn’t decrease that far).

They are a bit tight to tug on to my feet and they are snug but I like my socks that way.

Knitting these two-at-a-time was a bit of a chore because of my tight gauge using 3mm needles on such thick yarn. I was also using sharp Nova needle tips which hurt my finger when I was shifting stitches for the frequent cables.

Next time I would knit looser and use blunter needles.
