Perfect in every possible way… The fit is perfect, the pattern is lovely, my mods did exactly what I wanted, the yarn is lovely and squooshy and OH MY the colour is equally sublime - the photos don’t do it justice. It’s a rich, glowing teal. SO happy!

Knitting to ameliorate the post-show crashdown! ;)

Slightly tighter gauge at a size a bit bigger than I need - aiming to end up with slight positive ease, as the sizes in the pattern are the actual finished measurements.

Collar much longer, and buttonable as a cowl (extending button plackets along it; a la Calligraphy).

Body (without buttonbands) and first half of collar: three full skeins.
Sleeves: .8 skein each, roughly.

Delayed initial sleeve decreases to accommodate my rockin’ biceps. ;) Then decreased at an increasing rate until past elbow. Long ribbed cuffs.

Buttons as 4-stitch buttonholes so they can be centered over k2s in the ribbing. Placement: 2nd rib from top, then every 3rd, ending on 2nd from bottom (score!); 12 total (142 rib stitches picked up). Kind of wishing I’d gone with the bright lime green buttons but I didn’t want to compete visually with the cable. Might replace with patina’d copper buttons later if I find ones I like.
