Notes

I did a 48 stitch sock blank and tried to dye it for a friend with fairly conservative taste. The colors were too wild so it goes to Todd.

I used a 72 slot cylinder.

this is cuff down starting with a Gobbist Semi-Scalloped Edge. This cuff has 54 stitches in a K2, P1 stitch for 20 rows. Really there’s a mock rib between the 2 knit stitches. I wanted it to be tight enough to stay up without elastic.
Then I add a bunch of needles for the leg. I left out 6 needles in front in a K4, S1 pattern. I cranked 80 rows of that then added 2 needles.
Then I did a Sweet Tomato Heel
After the heel I cranked 55 rows
Then I added the final 4 needles, cranked 5 rows, and did a toe.

In this way I believe I am making socks that will fit Todd PERFECTLY. At least that’s what I am trying for.
They are a little tight but I think they are OK. I am not quite there yet.

I ended up giving them to a friend who they fit.
